That image was then run through img2img with the exact same prompts and settings except for the seed which varied on some runs and replacing japanese with different ethnicities. I ran them through at 4 batch size and 10 batches for 40 at a time.
I then selected the ones I liked and upscaled them using ESGRAN at x2 and GFPGAN at 0.25. This prompt in my opinion already generated very real looking faces so not really necessary to bump it higher than that.
Some of the different ethnicities I used were dominican, german, mexican and japanese.
