I wonder if it is possible to live in a house in the USA multi-generationally that includes side branches of the family tree? Basically, the house belongs to Grandpa and Grandma, but since none of the kids can afford a house of their own, the grown-up kids have to live with Grandpa and Grandma in the same house (aka the childhood home). The grown-up kids also have their spouses and their own kids. So, if a man and a woman has 3 kids, and the 3 kids grow up and marry 3 people and have 5 kids. That would give a grand total of 13 people all in the same house.
Grandpa and Grandma take the master bedroom, obviously, and the master bathroom.
The 3 children that are now adults will return to their old childhood bedrooms, but this time, they will have their spouses sleeping with them.
One grown-up child will have two children of his own; one grown-up child will have two children of her own; and the last child will have one child of his own, totaling 5 kids altogether.
The loft will be converted into a bedroom to hold 5 children.
