First off, a lengthy discussion is needed between both of us. In order for pet play to work, I would like you to play as the pet and I would like to be the owner/trainer of the human pet. Both of us will need to agree on what we expect out of the play time. Initial negotiations should be detailed and thorough, include expectations, boundaries, limits, and setting a safe word.

Getting ready: lay out outfits, get leashes, whip, toys, brushes, bowls, towel, music, water, food/treats, pigtails or ponytail, make up, talk about scene, close blinds, list of tricks and commands.

Then a discussion about the pet’s persona:

Does the pet want to be a husky? A golden retriever? A persian? A tabby cat? A fox? A bunny? A mouse? Do they have any specific idea in mind? Also, do they have any specific name in mind? Many pets have a name they’d prefer to be called. If they don’t, I will make one up on the spot, or I might prefer to “take” the kitten/puppy home and see how their personality tranforms before i name her.

Other Question to discuss:

What about vocalization? Is the pet allowed to talk if they need something? How Will you be punished if you do talk? We also will specifically want to discuss what you should do if they need to use the bathroom. Is she potty trained? Does the kitty/puppy want to just lounge around and be pet-like and ignored, or do they want your attention the entire time in the way of petting and playing? What treats does she want in her bowl? Does she want to see how cute she is and hot the scene is with video or pictures?

What’s pet play about:

Pet play is the act of pretending to be an animal or taking on animal-like tendencies. It isn’t usually used for arousal purposes although some do use it that way. It usually is just used as a way to escape from regular life responsibilities. If you are a cute, snuggly kitty, you don’t have to pay the bills or clean the sink – you can just relax and focus on being a sexy little mindless pet.

To avoid this, I would recommend a strict “code” that allows your pet to know when it’s time to slip into the mindset. For example, when having you get into the mind space to be a ‘pet’, always slip your collar around your neck and pat your head with “Good kitty/puppy”. That will allow you to know that the scene has started. To end it, take off you collar, and go “That’s enough kitty/puppy“. It allows enough break between fantasy and reality to try and keep it safe.

Starting: After meeting and discussing limits. I would invite you over to see the play space. You can arrive either dressed to play or get dressed here. I will lay out the accessories that will be used for the scene and make the space comfortable. Then we can discuss what tricks and poses we will use durning the scene. We would start with some basic poses and then try some more advanced poses. Then we would learn the new tricks and let you just be a pet. Other things we could do is; I could walk you around, let you play outside or just let you lounge around and just watch you be a pet and let loose! Then i would take you out of your mindset “pet space” and we could start aftercare.

Photos or videos: If approved to take. They pictures taken of the pet, must use pet’s phone. If of owner then owners phone. You choice to keep faces in shots or to send to each other. No outside use unless approved by both owner and pet.
