So, last night I dreamed that I was in this giant berry playground, where everything was a giant berry...it was like a huge playground, except everything was a giant, fresh, organic berry. There were blackberries, strawberries, kiwis, you name it, the whole landscape was full of fruit. And I, a piece of Boba, was frolicking around the landscape with my dream friend Felicity, who was a blackberry. And we were just floating around, bumping into all the other berries, trying to play tag with each other, splitting random strawberries in half perfectly, as well as eating the other delicious berries, you know, just normal berry stuff. It was so much fun. Then, we made it over to one of the far corners of the playground, where there were a bunch of yellow berries, which had the same shape as blackberries, except they were yellow. I had never seen this type of berry before, so I asked my friend Felicity, "Hey, I've never seen these yellow berries before. Do you know what they are?" And she replied, "Yellow berries, like my brother's nuts!" Cuz in the dream she was Asian, and I'm Asian, and so it was really funny...cuz of course her brother would have "yellow nuts"...get it? Anyway, in the dream, I burst out laughing, and she started laughing too. And in that moment, I really, truly, deeply felt that I had a friend, someone I could hang out with, talk with, and crack stupid jokes with. Then I woke up, and it was all just a dream. And then I actually shed a tear knowing that I would never in real life be a boba rolling around a fruitscape with my best friend felicity the blackberry cracking somewhat racist jokes about yellow nuts.
