maid cafes are part of japanese otaku culture, the waitresses act like manic pixy anime girls and chat up the customers; so like hooters for weebs. What surprised me was that this is considered a really fun job, so completely unlike hooters. time passes. could be hours or days. if hours she did just follow him home. if days a girl from the cafe noticed him passed out in an ally and contacted the speaker; everybody knew she had a thing for him, and he clearly needs a friend.

so tone is siginfiganly different from option A to option B, but we get to the same place. She wants to be with him. they met though the maid cafe, and she's very comfortable in that context, so why not continue on those lines?
