Why do guys message and then get scared/flake?

Story of my life! I've had so many guys hit me up on Reddit. Some I'm not vibing with, but there are several I'd get with...but then when it's time to get serious and make some plans, they block me or go ghost. I'm looking at you--Clover, SC....Lake Wylie, SC....York, SC....Gastonia....Shelby, NC....these seem to be the epicenters.

I don't want love, I don't want to talk politics...I just want to get fucked by a hot enough guy (and I find all sorts to be hot)-ideally a consistent FWB. Why is this too much to ask for?
