I took my wife for the first time to visit Peje. My father and mother have been there all summer. My honest review-I would struggle to come back. The city itself isnāt bad and the people for the most part are nice. But thereās no water. Water shortages between the hours of 8am-8pm most days is insane for 2024. Restaurants have water but houses, struggle. For a āvacationā having to plan showers and bathroom breaks around when we are able to use water is insane. We did end up going to Albania and other parts of Kosova but seems Peje is the only city that struggles with āmodern amenitiesā like this. Iām just so happy they didnāt have the traditional electric blackouts. There are no traffic laws, stray dogs getting hit by cars with no regard. Probably scratching this off the list of family visits for a while until the government makes some kind of needed changes. Itās been 20 years since the war and seems Peje is still years behind the rest of Kosova.
