I haven't gotten in any trouble yet - but recently there's been fewer and fewer mods controlling the majority of the subreddits. At the moment six powermods control over 100 of the top 500 subreddits which is a little scary. Widespread bans are very possible and there's a big problem with secretive paid promotions on even some of the larger subs. Paid promotions are usually done through services like PlayerUp or they'll make deals through telegram. Unfortunately downvote/upvote botting is a thing too.
There's also the problem of Reddit inching closer to getting rid of NSFW subs entirely. This has been a problem ever since they announced that the company was going public. Either way I'm fine! I'm just preparing for the worse
