Tomorrow is my first day of winter term, I’m so excited! For the first time in a long time I have a consistent and positive relationship with school. I started community college right before the pandemic hit and instantly I was failing most of my classes. I mean not that I was the brightest student before; I dropped out my sophomore year and got my diploma equivalent. Granted I did earn it a year before I was supposed to graduate, but since that didn’t really impress a lot of people it’s hard to give myself credit for it. Hahahahha oh no I’ve said too much!
Anyways, I’m taking classes I’m genuinely interested in and they work WITH my ADHD since it’s all project based with hardly any tough quizzes or papers. Not to mention I got my math requirement out of the way last year which has alleviated a lot of my academic stress. God that was such a shitty time. I’m 99% sure I have dyscalculia/dyslexia and I was nearly giving myself concussions over algebra 2. Id still rather eat an entire couch than take math ever again
Okay my arms and eyes are tired. I’m going to sleep. Good night to whoever reads this!
