When your wife tells you, she bought a bargain house in England, roll your eyes and run. Of course, it's my fault nothing is getting dinner in here and frankly, I've told her I just can't do renovating anymore. See, that house in the other post, although was beautiful on the outside, always had a constant state of renovating going on inside. For the 10 years we lived there, she was always finding a new room to tear up, while I was at work. It definitely wears on you.
See, she fancies herself an interior designer, although she isn't. No, I'm not putting her down, but when you put up a wall, just to have to tear it down again, because she didn't think a sink looked good where it was and needed it moved, because, in her head is where lives the plan your working to, it gets tiring.
Now, I'm at this crossroads of just sitting here wasting away or taking action and going on about my life without her. I can't do the things I love, because I just don't have the room or the electricity to do those things. I really don't know what to do.
Oh and before anyone says it, I have tried getting her too give up on this dump and move to another house and she just throws a fit or starts crying. Worse yet, she had big plans for renovating their house. I just say, good luck with that.
