So today, my wife got her daily call from her daughter, of course after a visit from earlier. I overheard the conversation and my mind was completely blown. This girl, who can't afford to make ends meet and just borrowed £32 from us, has gotten herself scheduled for a spray tan and has gotten new eyelashes. It blows my mind, because she said the money was to buy groceries. This is so she can look her best to go on vacation in one of the upcoming weeks. Why in the fuck would you spend money you don't have on shit you don't need if you can't afford it? I just don't get it.
