I'm a goth punk/deathrocker. I have a thing for nerds and blond boys. I was born in Southern California as a first-gen immigrant to Turkish parents. My bday is on 3rd of march and I’m 5’6. I studied at Reed College for 2.5 terms when I decided to exchange in Istanbul at a university. I've decided to get my degree here so I got permanent status and have been here since (it's been 3 years now). I'm studying applied linguistics and educational sciences with a minor in sociology, specializing in sociolinguistics and forensic linguistics of all the 25 applied linguistics sub-branches. I'm planning to get another undergraduate degree in either criminology or sociology in Canada after I graduate from this University (probably in less than 2 years), after which I'm planning to get a master's degree in forensic linguistics or a related criminological/jurisprudential field. I took 4 years of german and german culture at high school as I was in the foreign languages department. I've been alt since the start of middle school. I grew up very poor and have been in foster care throughout my adolescence, so I know how it feels like to have little and make the most out of what little I have. I don't follow a particular religion but occasionally I practice witchcraft, spiritual healing modalities and I go to church on Sundays (for community and I believe in Jesus as an ascended master although I'm not a Christian). I'M ASEXUAL but I'm willing to do things for my partner if I find the right person. I DIY zines, clothing and decoration! I like knitting and visiting graveyards among other niche and weird things. I really like playing video games and cooking for people I love. I cook mostly mexican/italian/turkish fusion. I love mediterranean dishes and my fav dish is a turkish bulgur salad called Kısır and falafel. I really want to do homesteading and gardening in the future if I have my own place some day. I really love volunteering work and helping others and bring out the joy in them. It makes me so happy and I've been volunteering for children with incurable illnesses and people with disabilities, especially people with visual impairments. I may come off as boring to some people because I've never had a boyfriend, still a virgin and never had alcohol, never smoked cigarettes, and never did substances and I'm planning to keep it that way. In fact I've never even been to a bar or a pub. Oh also I'm only interested in a serious long-term relationship. I’m overly protective and jealous of people I love – which to some people may come off as crazy or toxic but it’s just who I am.
