Hi, today I woke up just to notice that the sub was banned from Reddit. All we have is this public statement:

This subreddit was banned due to a violation of Reddit's rules against non-consensual intimate media.

There is nothing we can do unfortunately, like I said in one of the last pinned posts, the sub was rapidly growing every day with almost 17K members as of last night that I checked, so the amount of people posting sus stuff was also getting out of control, I tried my best at programming many rules for the Automod so it could be useful, as well as for asking for volunteers to help mod the sub, but all that wasn't enough. I haven't receive an explanation in my mailbox from Reddit regarding the situation so I don't know exactly what happened. I went to sleep last night after clearing all the posts queue and everything seemed under control.

What now?

I don't have plans for making a second sub or a GoonTalk 2 since I'm sure the outcome will be the same. I will now focus my time on posting more content here on my personal account for as long as I can, and I say this carrying a couple warnings I got from Reddit on my back, so... yeah. I do have plans to open a Discord server in the near future though, but I still need to figure out a proper way to organize all that, as well as learn how to program bots over there. I will tell you if that gets done someday. 

The GoonTalk legacy

If you want to make your own subreddit for the Gooning community, here are some tips for you from what I learnt over the past year, besides making a list of basic rules, good luck:

1. Learn to make automod rules — You can read the full automod documentation and learn the basics, I suggest the use of ChatGPT if you want to have an idea of how to start making your own specific rules, btw don't use vulgarities or nsfw words when using it since it could restrict your conversations. ALSO, here I leave a backup of automod rules I made for GoonTalk, you can use them and modify them according to your needs, you will find comments written by me explaining each rule so you have a better understanding.
2. Be careful with amateur content and independent models — Here's a theory, I think Reddit is more permissive when it comes to posting "professionally made porn" (Brazzers, Evil Angel, Reality Kings, etc), you can notice by looking at the longevity of other nsfw subs that only post that kind of content. I recommend you to prevent users from posting independent models and amateur stuff, that could bring more reports to your subreddit.
3. Be careful with IRL and teen content — self explanatory, if the point above couldn't make it more obvious.
4. Do not accept ban appeals — Be as strict as you can with your rules, ban any user who is damaging your sub.
5. Take care of your mod queue — Create a strong mod team so you all can take action as fast as possible.
6. Maybe the term "Gooning" is under attack — Another theory I have is that I noticed some subs are appearing and disappearing really fast, maybe Reddit is trying to clean its platform by banning any Gooning-related subs, so take that in mind when making your own space, maybe you could try to hide or forbid the word entirely.

A little bit about the genesis

I created this sub to share my curiosity for the Gooning culture, to learn, to explore my sexuality, to create another door for Gooners and Goonettes so they could get in and feel comfortable with themselves, to extend the longevity of the Gooning topic here on Reddit. Inspired by r/EdgingTalk (hence the name), I just wanted to have fun and have a good time.
