There was a wolf who was very wounded. he had an interesting life ran with packs in the past always tried to fit in and did well. He was fast strong hungry capable and more.

He came back to the place he was born, the den in the forest. His adaptability and strength grew to atrophy. He let them. He let himself get weak for love of the old alpha wolf in his den. No matter how badly the alpha wolf would treat him he'd be intensely loyal. They'd fight gnash clawwd bite each other but he could not change the alpha wolf he could only watch himself atrophy as he struggled to keep the alpha wolf okay. He suppressed his urge for the wild in order to be there for the alpha wolf. He got wounded in the process. Hence the name wounded wolf.

Across this journey he met three animals in the forest that caught his heart and made him happy. The bitch, the bear and the bunny (rabbit).

The bitch was and is a beautiful dog. This dog has darkness like the wolf. But this dog is a beautiful sweet bitch. This sweet bitch barks beautiful heart felt cries like the wounded wolf does and it rings in his heart when she does. She too was scared.

The wolf cares for this bitch a lot though he is worried the bitch will not be in the forest for long. To the wolf this bitch is his daughter.

The bear is a kind sweet bear with a very difficult past. Capable of savagery and gentleness in the same claw stroke. He connects with the wolf over adoration for the bitch. He has been in many fights. And had many scars. He's a tired bear though he is younger than the wolf. The wolf adores the bear like he was his younger brother.

The wolf worries about the bear because the bear has been in many fights and the wolf wishes it was there to protect the bear.

The third and final animal friend of the wolf was the bunny rabbit. This was an unusual situation. Normally the bunny sits still and doesn't speak. When it gets hurt it just accepts it and dismisses it's pain with a smile and a laugh. It's got scars. It's a herd animal and does what it's told. The wolf has a deep care for the bunny.

But sometimes it has to speak it has to scream. Very loudly . And the wolf much like Zootopia, kind of cares for it. It sees the bunny as a unruly little sister the wolf has too big of a heart to do anything about. He just accepts the bunny as she is. Not more not less. Sometimes it hurts him to not intervene because he wants to. He is worried about traps that have been laid for the bunny.

And for as long as he has been proper friends for bunny he sees a little sister bunny that he cares about and wants to succeed.

These 3 other animals mean the world to the wolf. They have made him less sad. They see his scars and he feels theirs.

He's very protective of them. And worries about them. Too much. He worries about them to the point he gets really tense about it. To the point he has to write story metaphors about his worry.

They don't want him to worry. But he still does. He keeps thinking his animal friends wouldn't be there anymore. That they would leave the forest before their time.

And he wishes he could protect them all.
