I saw some people do this and thought it was really handy! It made it easier for me to pick out cards for them, and since I'm bored and have nothing else to do while sitting in my online class, I thought I'd give it a go too.

Keep in mind though, I'll definitely appreciate any card you send me, but if you're struggling to pick one for me, this is probably a good reference post 😊

Brace yourselves; many bullet points incoming. I tried to make it as clear and clean as possible but uhm... I'm not sure if I succeeded.

GENERAL

• holographic things (I always say it's my favourite colour but that's kinda cheating; it's basically all the colours at once!)
• shiny, shimmery and glittery
• pink and pastels (when I was a teen I kinda forced myself to not like girly things because I really wanted to be the cool "not like other girls" girl 😅 I tried my best to not be cute, and now look at me. ain't I a cutie??)
• pandas🐼 dogs🐶 and cats🐱. I like all animals as long as they're cute though hehe (I don't have a dog yet, but I'll definitely adopt one once I have the chance. also I'm allergic to cats but I still pet every cat I see, and yes it's worth it. and uhm, I like pandas cause they're cute and clumsy)
• I generally prefer drawings/illustrations over photographs (example: I'd rather have a watercolour print of the Eiffel Tower than a photograph)

AESTHETICS

• space & galaxy (not the brainy part about space with satellites, but the pretty part with planets and stars and milky way and stuff lol)
• ocean (dolphins actually used to be my favourite animal when I was a kid. I still like them, but there's other animals I like more now)
• Asian (I'm Asian, born and raised in Europe so I love anything that reminds me of my "roots")
• cute stuff (as I said... look at me now haha)
• food (I think recipe cards are really really cool. I love food 🍣 I really, really do *insert emoji of woman with big belly*)

ANIME

• Avatar: The Last Airbender
  • Appa & Momo (how could you not like them 🥺 they're just a big and a little floofball)
  • Zuko (why am I so bad at being good?)
  • ain't no "Team Avatar" without Suki
  • Iroh (I don't think I need to explain myself)

• Attack on Titan
  • Levi (oh yea. love me some strong boys)
  • Erwin (such a good leader. this guy gave me lots of goosebumps)
  • Hange (she's just crazy. cool and crazy)
  • Sasha (she loves food, I love food, so I love her. and maybe she loves me too hehe)
  • I hate Eren (sorry 🙁)
• 86 (ooooh boy. I just finished this anime and my emotions are ALL OVER THE PLACE)

• Haikyuu (for some reason I can't find ANY Haikyuu postcard sets? I've been looking for some for aages, but the only ones I can find are single ones from artists on Etsy or tiny, credit card sized ones)
  • Nishinoya (I think he's cool. his saves are amazing!!)

DISNEY

• Mulan
  • I'm Chinese so I'm biased, but she's the coolest princess out there
  • also technically she's not even a princess; neither her nor Shang are of royal blood!
• Ariel
  • childhood favourite
  • she's a mermaid! need I say more?
• Rapunzel
  • the scene with the lanterns is just breathtakingly magical ❤

GHIBLI

• Ponyo is my favourite
  • she's just so cute! and Sosuke is also so cute!

  • what can I say, I'm just a simple girl that likes handsome faces, lmao

POKEMON

• Charmander
  • that scene of him taking shelter under the leave just softened my heart for this lil guy
  • also he'll be a "dragon" when he grows up, how cool is that?

• confession: I've never actually played the Pokemon games, but only watched the show. but it's still one of my favourite things

VIDEO GAMES

• League of Legends
  • oh yea. I'm bad at this game though, but tbh I'm bad at pretty much every game 😐

• my "new" obsession is manhwa. specifically Otome Isekai manhwa's 😁 if you're one of us PLEASE chat me, I'm dying for a friend to discuss OI with haha. I really do love manhwa, my goodness
• I started pole dancing a while ago! I don't do the sexy stuff though; even if I wanted, it'd definitely not look sexy with my current skill haha

• I LOVE BUBBLE TEA AND MATCHA ICE CREAM. we only recently started to get bubble tea shops in my city and I'm so happy!! but it's still so freaking hard to find a place to eat or buy matcha ice cream anywhere within a 1h radius, it's unbelievable. and I can't even make that myself (unlike bubble tea); for some reason whenever I attempt to make matcha ice cream it just tastes so much like condensed milk and idk why?
