I find myself posting this a lot so I figured I’d copy it in here for anyone that wants to know.

My 1st girlfriend was a slut and I learned to like it. After that I hid from my feelings in a few normal relationships. Then married the love of my life and was happy for a few years. I think she was beginning to like it but afraid to say it. I think she was actually afraid to say she wanted a guy because of fear of rejection and also fear I would get mad at her. I worked on that by giving her suggestions on what to say to the guys she was texting. This was helpful because she could see how turned on I was by it. She started to see that I really meant what I said. Around this time we also watched swing on playboy channel. It gave her an introduction to non monogamy and opened up conversations. She also got to see that couples could actually thrive in a non monogamous relationship.

The last part was giving her opportunity to do it. I encouraged her to do ladies nights. With the hope that some guy would make a move on her. Every time she would go out I told her to flirt and she had my support to do anything she wanted.

The night it happened was no different than dozens of nights before. I helped her pick out a sexy outfit. Told her all the guys will be wanting her. She went to a music festival with a few friends. I sent her a text early in the day asking if anyone had hit on her yet. She sent back “funny that you mentioned that because J is here and flirting with me”. He was one of the many guys in her DM’s. I said that’s exciting and I support her doing anything she wanted to. I left her alone and didn’t hear anything from her for hours. That is really unusual for her.
