How I got here
Post Body

I’ve always know I am a sexual person, it’s never far from my mind. Like most teens I found porn and erotica, enjoyed them of course, but in college I remember finding kinks. At the time it wasn’t as generally accepted in society as it is now, there was no fifty shades of gray, so it was just fantasy. After college got married and had kids, life as normal. Everything is great, I wouldn’t change it for the world, but in the back of my mind I know there is more.

I know there is a whole world out there of kinks, kinks that have never left my fantasy, but still never explored beyond media. Fifty shades of gray (I know I’ve mentioned it twice now see the *below) brought bdsm out of the shadows and right in front of wife’s across the country. Of course, mine was one of them, which I didn’t mind. She showed enough interest to scratch the surface of kink and light the flame within me. Like most wives she backed off of course and only wanted to dip her toe in, but I was hooked. I had to find an outlet.

Eventually I stumble upon Reddit, a wealth of amateur knowledge, guidance, and smut. I’ve been here ever since. Of course I enjoy the smut like most people, but I also enjoyed the communities of like minded people. I never post or comment much in public, but lurk and learn. I’ve had conversations with different redditors via private messages and chats. Some are fleeting one time conversations, others have to my surprise turned into true friendships.

It’s been an amazing journey to this point and I can’t wait to see where it goes next. Kink and sex are a journey to me, no goals, no roadmap, just an adventure.

*I have a love hate relationship with Fifty Shades of Gray. I appreciate what it is and what it has done for society. I love how it has brought bdsm and kink out of the shadows and allowed people to come to terms and explore. People like me. However, it’s a horrible representation of bdsm in my opinion.
