A Note for the Nosy RAOC Crew
Post Body

If you’re snooping to find out what kinds of cards I might be interested in (no shame in that) then I thought I might make your job a little easier. I tend to prefer postcards to cards, but cards are great too (especially if they are handmade or just right).

Here are some oddly specific general kinds of cards that I would love to receive. Please don’t feel limited by these suggestions! Hopefully they can inspire you, but if nothing quite works, anything is good.

Donuts - Unicycles - Whimsical art - Fantastical creatures and worlds - Dragons - Space/galaxy/stars - Chips - Whales - Mythology - Musicals - Magic - Nudes (e.g. statues, art) - Things that are Orange (the colour) - Doctor Who - Sushi - Encouraging quotes

Write whatever you want, but if you would like some prompts... - Advice for a twenty-something year old - A recipe you love - Something that changed the way you see the world - A funny story or memory - Your hopes and dreams

Special Request - I work as a mental health peer support worker and I am building a collection of cards which I can share with the people I work with who might be in hospital or otherwise seeking support for mental health. Some things you could write about... - Personal experiences with mental health with a focus on growth/recovery/things you have learnt - Self care ideas and things that help your mental health
