I don’t know if this is because of “the grass is always greener on the other side”, but the idea of a smaller city/town or even rural area seems to be more appealing to me. I like the idea of having a home with a sizable yard or property with a little land. To grow some of my own food. Not that I want to quit my day job and become a full time farmer or homestead living. But something I can work on in the afternoons and weekends.

And with that, have a partner. Someone to help tend the house, the garden, any critters. I’m not opposed to them working a job. The way I grew up, everyone in the household went to work and had household chores. But someone who would want to maintain the house/property. Either after work and weekends, or stay at home.

A dynamic that fulfill both our desires for this type a living and one that satisfies our urges. I’m not looking for a slave/toy that jumps at my every whim. I try to be realistic. Fantasy and reality are completely different. I’m not looking for someone who will be constantly edged and forced to orgasm all day, every day. In reality, after working all day, doing chores, and dealing with responsibilities, we often don’t have energy or the right headspace to go into a full on scene.

Personally I enjoy a schedule and structure. Everything doesn’t have to be planned out, but I do like outlines of when and what will happen during the week. Including work (inside and outside the household), date nights, and more intense play. I’m almost tempted to say in includes time for punishments. Although I don’t see it as “punishments”. During play it’s fun to call it that. But it’s part of maintaining the relationship. Just like having date nights and spending quality together, this too is an important aspect of a healthy relationship.

I’ve been with women who enjoy the idea of serving their man. Not just in a D/s aspect, but in a traditional way as well. To cook and serve for them. To satisfy their needs. It’s just that my needs are a bit different. A bit more sadistic. One evening having a movie night, the other having them on all fours as my foot stool, toys stuffed in each hole. Then covering their body with marks and bruises from whips, spanks, and any other way that may cross my mind. Someone who I can evolve with. To learn each others moods and energies. To push each other and take our kinks to the max, all while feeling trust and safety with one another.
