I personally know a few people who found love during a Covid lockdown. The combination of being stuck inside and not being able to get "release" and close quarters feelings. I've read reddit posts where normal couples, friends even, fell in love during lockdown. There was just no place to go to ignore the feelings.
I think love is interesting in that way and all the things we do to distract from it. I tell my husband all the time that hjs coworkers see him and spend more time with him than I ever will. It reminds of of those desert island scenarios. If siblings were stuck on an island for 50 years and they found a way to find consistent food and shelter, how fast do you think they'd have sex? I think honestly if two straight men were stuck alone for 50 years there would come a time where they'd experiment. So maybe in that scenario it isn't hidden incestuous desires rising to the surface. Maybe at that point it is just human desire.
But I read quite a few r/incest posts about lockdown and whether they seemed real or nor, they were interesting. I think being close for a long time and interacting with only a specific person spawns feelings. When that person becomes part of your routine and possibly the only human you interact with in person.
