on it's own..a lot of people don't understand reiki like many other things is a SYSTEM. a system has structure, order, rules. anything else..using words, weird hand movements, not following the specific beginning middle end flow of it, etc. etc. means you are literally just doing energy work...literally. it's ok if that's what you want to share on social media in person in classes...but the distinction is really important there....diluting a sacred practice is a poopy move. but it probably just hits different since apart of me being submissive is a strong natural orientation to structure,organization, rules, and having discipline either/or both internally and externally..and i'm sure if people are more free flowly those little nuances matter less to them.
