i was going to start out the progression of this mini ted talk cause i honestly don't see me diving as deep or as long winded as the others with this with a song that used both these artists and then making a separate post this as a second post for this..but for whatever reason i can't remember the song i was going to use. so we're just jumping in.

i often see lady sirens as the little girl's big sis. even though their not into the exploration of what's innocent what's less mature and serious it all has that spicy overtly enticing aura to them and that shiny shiny object vibes just in different ways. because of that especially in the media representation sirens sometimes either put on the little/babygirl mask...for funises, a project, a video, a promotion, a theme whatever......

but it never looks quite right.....

something about it is off...and the physical uniform of the clothes the body posturing etc. can be hyperfocused to tryyyyyyy to pull off the little baby girl vibes but it just doesn't hit in the stomach like yes you were just born that way.

maybe she's born with it, maybe it's maybeillne!!

and then when they are putting on the essence as a character and choose to bring in for whatever reason the real babygirl/little girl to either maybe say even it out, legitimize it more, or to just kinda align with it, the stark difference is so clear.

cardi b and latto are one of those abygirls surrounded by the big siren sis energy vibes where cardi often tries to be more little around them but it just never feels right..and it's not because she's hard....she's just not made to be a childish impish playful person. she's a tiger literally.

let's examine case 1:

big sis cardi little sis latto. which she just brings a joyful YAS GIRL SMILE CAN'T HELP BUT SAYYYYNNNNG HER NAME WHEN YOU THINK OF HER

latttttttttttoooooooooooooooooooooooo.

big sis is trying with all the references.....the colored hair. the pink nails. the britney spears reference. but something feels stiff something feels off...something feels distant.

latto is inviting you in in just her regular shirt and shorts. she's playful she's mesmerizing she's magnetizing, she's FUN. she's silly! she's whimsy and brassy and naughty and explossiveeeeeeeeeeee.

cardi's last little reverence to the essence was cute but it was really off. this is one of those things that if you are just looking to get off, get turned on, find something to wank to, or your just casually into it you're not a lifestyler, your not a true connoisseur, explorer, deep diver you'd miss. the outfit the poses would throw you off.

but again it's that kinda almost dead look in the eye..it's not engaging..the focus is LOOKING and POSING the part for her. the eyes alone are very tiger in sheeps clothing kinda bit. it's a siren posing as a little girl...which to be clear none of this is wrong bad or negative. trying on different things switching things up pulling in different influences is the spice of life and allows you to grow and explore and develop as a person.

but what it is is also just being able to see what something exactly aligns with and something that's more of a temporary thing.

it's giving those newbies in the online forums or at the munches that talk about trying on daddy and babygirl or little girl and saying it feels fake or they don't know if they're doing it right or they don't know what to do to really vibe with the groove...those sorts of posts and conversations are usually very less about lack of experience and very more about just trying on clothes for a season and starting to realize they bought an xl when they needed a large.

which brings us back to case 3:

latto isn't new to this she's true to this. when you choose to just express your essence with abandonment without shame guilt worry or fear it just oozes off you like air. latto doesn't have the schoolgirl unforim, she doesn't have a KAWAII FOR LYFE ARAIGATO PEACE SIGN anime shirt or reference. and her hair isn't done up in a style that most adults don't like or gravitate to anymore.

but in a simple car shot with a basic attire and shoes if this don't scream babygirl/littlegirl to you i don't know what ever will.

i was going to also bring in cardi to compare to other babygirl megan the staillion showing how even in just a dress rehersal in workout clothes megan oozes babygirl...but i'm also getting a sense this is pretty complete as is.

nothing wrong with experimentation and roleplay and big sis's...but also just a big oh okay got it for the difference between a real one and a two dollar buck in expression.

i don't really think this song does anything for the topic but just putting it here i guess for visual representation and because i like to always add a song and this is the only one they've done together........... so ramble ramble mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh?
