Hello: I'm hoping to meet someone interesting, intelligent, clever, funny, and perhaps even a bit sarcastic. Is that enough adjectives? Basically, I'm hoping to meet someone who knows who she is and what she is looking for. There is nothing more compelling that confidence.
I'm a professional guy who lives and works in New York (most of the time at least). I like good conversation, ideas, opinions, sports, and culture. I have learned a lot in my years but one thing I know is that I don't know everything. I'm hoping to find someone who can introduce me to new things and new horizons. Of course I would be thrilled if this leads to something intimate, but the way to start is by being friends. If the spark is there, it will come. And, wouldn't that be great? There is not much more exciting than the thrill of seeing a new text or message from that special someone.
So how did I get here? I've been married 25 years. My wife and I share kids and own a business together. But, for whatever reasons, she announced last summer that "that part" was over. I accept that and we are only in the same place about 10 days per month. But, I'm not getting divorced soon and I'm definitely not going to embarrass her. If you can accept that--even better if you have a similar situation--please keep reading.
As for the data, I'm tall, in pretty decent shape, and look good in a suit. As you can tell I like words and I favor the Oxford comma. But there is more out there and it would be great to find someone to share things with.
