Starting to write this is harder than I thought it was going to be…

Here’s a little about me, by no means an exhaustive list: single, 42, live in Arizona, elder Millennial, Capricorn, baby in the family but often the most responsible.

I’m 5’7”, 209 lbs. and working on that. I’m strong but not toned, work out 5 times a week, and watch calories in but see no point in making myself miserable by cutting things out completely.

I’ve worked in higher education my entire career and am now working on a change that will allow me to pursue passions and have some freedom in my work location.

Equality, diversity, and justice are big for me; I’ll march, donate money, and vote in every election. I believe you vote with your money, so I don’t go to Chick-fil-A, Hobby Lobby, or Walmart. (Read: Fox News fans can abandon this post now if you haven’t already. Let’s not waste each other’s time.)

I like to read, try out new restaurants, go to concerts and outdoor festivals, and spend quality time with people, no matter the activity.

I’d like to meet someone 40 with a quiet confidence, a growth mindset and interest in learning, optimism, good sense of humor, and a desire to communicate often. We can’t grow if we aren’t talking regularly. If this man happens to be a few inches taller than me and has a deep voice, all the better. If he also craves physical touch and likes to take charge in the bedroom, then extra points will be awarded.
