The cloud was thicker than yesterday and yet the sun shined very gently giving a warm embrace to him. It was as if the world was conspiring to give him a good day, but he just couldn't seem to shake off the feeling of unease.
He walked down the street, taking in the sights and sounds of the city around him. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness and loss. It was as if something was missing from his life, something that he could never quite put his finger on.
As he walked, he found himself thinking back to his childhood. He remembered the days when he was orphaned and alone, left to fend for himself. He remembered how his uncle and cousin had taken him in and loved him like a brother. And yet, even then, he had felt like something was missing.
Now, as he walked through the city, he felt that same sense of loss and sadness. But this time, it was even stronger than before. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong, that something was very wrong indeed.
He walked faster, trying to outrun his feelings of despair. But no matter how fast he walked, they seemed to follow him. They seemed to be right on his heels, nipping at his heels like a pack of wolves.
He turned a corner, and the feeling suddenly became too much to bear. He collapsed to the ground, overcome with emotion. He felt like he was going to drown in his own sorrow, like he would never be able to surface again.
He lay there for a long time, not moving, not even trying to get up. He just wanted to give in, to let the darkness take him. But eventually, he forced himself to his feet and staggered home.
He walked into his house and collapsed on the floor, wallowing in misery. He wished that everything could have been different, that his life could have been better. But sadly, it was not to be.
