The young boy in question had always been a bit different. His interests were more eclectic than those of his peers and he was always extremely creative. But, as he grew older, he began to notice that his thoughts were different from everyone else's. He would have entire conversations with himself in his head, and sometimes he wasn't sure if he was really thinking or if he was just dreaming.
The young boy tried to keep his thoughts to himself, but eventually they started to leak out. He would say things that didn't make sense to anyone else, and he could tell that they were scared of him. He was put on medication to try and stabilize his mood, but it made him feel even more removed from the world. The pills tasted like sugar to him, and he would often daydream about what it would be like to live in a world where his thoughts were the norm.
Despite the challenges he faced, the young boy tried to stay positive. He would tell himself that his thoughts were just a different way of looking at the world, and that one day people would understand. He clung to his dreams and his imagination as a way to stay afloat, and though it was sometimes hard, he never gave up hope.
