Seeing younger me

I wish I could go back and hug my younger self. I wish I could tell him that it's going to be okay. That even though this is scary, he's going to make it through. I want to tell him that he's strong and brave, and that he can handle anything that comes his way.

But I can't go back. I can only move forward. And so I'll continue to try and comfort my younger self from afar. I'll keep telling him that he's strong and brave, and that he can handle anything that comes his way. Because I know that's what he needs to hear.
