This past weekend a guy was kinda-somewhat-flirty with me in a very cute way. Yeah, I think so. The closer I get to 30, the simpler I want my life to be. I don’t care about living in big cities, collaborating with other creators, modeling for magazines or galleries, etc.

I just want a quiet, peaceful life filled with silent nature walks, cloud gazing, and learning about nature. I’ve always had interest in those things, but now it’s a priority of mine to live slow.

It’s been great! Today I was featured on a couple local news stations for it lol I’m personally caring for 14 dogs right now, most of which are puppies that were going to be euthanized! It’s a full time job… and puppies poop a lot. But they’re a lot of fun and super cute.

Nah. I sometimes wonder what my life would look like had I not gone viral… But still, I wouldn’t change a thing. Reddit changed literally every aspect of my life. Almost all of it has been for the better :)

As a herding breed rescue, the most common ones I work with are Aussies, Heelers, border collies. Border collies are probably my favorite out of those.

My favorite type of dog to work with are fear-reactive dogs. That bond is unlike any other… being the first hooman a traumatized dog learns to trust is the biggest honor.

I was a first team/base camp PA — on non-union shoots I worked in camera department. My friends in set dressing love it.. it seems a lot less aggressive than AD department.

I ultimately left due to regular sexual harassment and general bad vibes. Poor reporting on my hours making me work 17 hour days for crap pay, verbally-abusive producers letting you know you’re easily dispensable if you complain, etc.

I left shortly before the whole Harvey Weinstein thing came to light.. hopefully things have gotten better since then, but even so.. when I’m on set as talent, I still see PAs being bullied. I always go out of my way to let them know they’re doing a great job and are a very important part of production.

When I was like 8, I chopped my leg open with an axe. I was swinging with all my might and missed the log. My piss-drunk father was supervising me, so he gave me a cold beer to put on my leg in lieu of an ice pack (or idk, the hospital?) It healed surprisingly well and you could barely see the scar.

If I had to get a face tattoo, and I couldn’t get something natural-looking like freckles… maybe some type of small, dainty Texas wildflower. That’s a hard one. I really do not want tattoos on my face lol tattoos look great on other people.

Start by fostering through a local rescue or shelter :) it’s a great way to learn animal handling. That’s what I did! I’ve been fostering since I was 18, and started my own charity at 25.

Something that helped was 1.) just time and 2.) breaking down what was bothering me into 2 categories: things in my control, and things out of my control.

If it’s in my control, change it. If I don’t know how to change it, start over from scratch (leave the job, relationship, city, country, etc. and start over with a blank slate).

If it’s out of my control, determine “will it ever be in my control? Will I ever have the finances, time, political power, physical ability, etc. to change it?” If so, make a plan and wait for that time to come. If not, make peace with the fact I have no influence over that part of my reality.

Just dogs for now :) if I won the lottery (or some reallllly nice crypto whale wanted to throw me some measly bitcoin change), my full dream would be a multi-species sanctuary, where unadoptable animals can live out their entire lives. Chickens that can no longer lay eggs, horses that can no longer carry people, cows that can no longer produce milk, dogs that are scared of humans, cats that are blind, etc.

Almost all my dogs are death row dogs— dogs who were scheduled for euthanasia at the shelter. I don’t do lost pets/strays because it’s easiest for their owners to find them through the shelter, but I occasionally do dumped dogs and owner surrenders, especially if the dog will have been euthanized on intake if surrendered.

It’s been going well. I need to do some kind of fundraiser because medical bills are piling up. I just took in a death row litter and puppies are EXPENSIVE.

I’m not going to name names, but a lot of bigger companies tried pressuring me into doing things outside my comfort zone. It’s in discrete ways, like “you’ll make XXX money if you do this, but X,XXX money if you do this” or “we want you for this one big promotional gig, but girls that do this gig have to do that gig as well. If you were willing to do that as well as this, then we’ll give you the job”.

And a lot of them severely underpay their talent. Sure they’ll do all your hair/makeup/wardrobe/snacks/give you a PA/take you out to a fancy restaurant to try and make you feel important, but you aren’t important. You’re just a product that’s making them a bunch of money. Same deal with a lot of traveling model shootouts. I’d rather just do it by myself.
