Melbourne (/ˈmɛlbərn/[8] locally [ˈmɛɫbn̩] (📷 listen))[9][10] is the state capital and most populous city of the Australian state of Victoria), and the second-most populous city in Australia and Oceania.[1] The name "Melbourne" covers an urban agglomerationspanning 9,992.5 km2 (3,858.1 sq mi),[2] which comprises the broader metropolitan area, as well as being the common name for its city centre. The metropolis is located on the large natural bay of Port Phillip and expands into the hinterlands towards the Dandenong and Macedon mountain ranges, Mornington Peninsula and Yarra Valley. Melbourne consists of 31 municipalities.[11] It has a population of 4,725,316 as of 2016,[1] and its inhabitants are called Melburnians.[12][13]

Cricket Australia (CA), formerly known as the** Australian Cricket Board (A**CB), is the governing body for professional and amateur cricket in Australia. It was originally formed in 1905 as the "Australian Board of Control for International Cricket". It is incorporated as an Australian Public Company, limited by guarantee.[3]
Cricket Australia operates all of the Australian national representative cricket sides, including the Australian cricket team, the Australia national women's cricket team and youth sides as well. CA is also responsible for organising and hosting Test tours and one day internationals with other nations, and scheduling the home international fixtures.
