Well hello internet stranger, welcome to my little post (picture the Forest Gump waving gif).

Before you read any further please, you are going to reach out take a moment to type more the three words or hey. I have made a effort here to present myself and would like you to do the same.

Anywho, I have a honours degree in History and archaeology but yet don't use them (grumbles about societal expectations for schooling) and am working in IT because I love the challenge that every day brings.

My Spotify weekly recommendations are away all over the place as I listen to everything from big band in the 40s to viking folk music out of norway.

I read alot Science Fiction or Fantasy novels in my free time and have fully embraced audio books as I drive into work or go for walks. If anyone is looking for some good recommendations anything by Craig Alanson is fantastic and I have become fully invested in the characters across the series.

I enjoy cooking for myself, friends and family but utterly fail at baking anything other than cookies and cinnamon buns.

My real love however is to try and reconnect to nature when I can. Getting my canoe and heading out camping, walking down to the lake and just watching the waves or even just sitting on the swings in those small hidden city parks allows me to calm my busy mind.
