Professional photos….

I have a few offers to go a professional photo shoot, but is it worth it? Do viewers like it better? I thought the at home rough around the edges were better. It had it seem more spontaneous.
I mean, if you want professional why not hit a professional website?
Has anybody done professional and it help? Or was it a waste of money?
