I am a full time healthcare worker in a customer-facing role. I recieve dath threats and rpe threats at least once a day. If someone was to recognise me at work, it would be very easy for them to figure out my schedule and follow me home, stalk me, hurt me, k*ll me etc. It is too much of a personal risk to show my face. My safety is my number one priority

Yeah lol. A lot of people don't realise that sex workers have a constant, genuine safety risk. Especially those that do civvie jobs as well

Sex work is a broad term that includes a variety of professions—such as stripping, camming, escorting, adult content creation, and others—that involve consensual work intersecting with sexuality. Creating and selling nudes is absolutely a form of sex work because it involves commodifying one's sexual expression for income.
Referring to sex work as 'prostitution' not only misrepresents the diversity of the industry but also perpetuates stigma. The term 'prostitute' has historically been weaponised as a slur, used to dehumanise and shame individuals engaging in sex work. Many sex workers and advocates prefer terms like 'escort' or 'full-service sex worker' to describe that specific role, as they are more accurate and respectful.
Additionally, your claim that other creators 'don’t face such threats' is both dismissive and uninformed. Threats of violence, harassment, and doxxing against sex workers—especially women—are symptoms of systemic misogyny and the stigma surrounding sex work. Suggesting that my experiences are invalid because others don’t face the same risks is not only incorrect but also harmful.
If you genuinely find the threats concerning, I encourage you to reflect on how dismissive attitudes like this contribute to the problem. Supporting sex workers includes acknowledging the diversity of the profession and challenging the stigma we face—not undermining our experiences or drawing false distinctions about what is 'real' sex work."
Thank you.
