My Process to Writing
Post Body

Hey there! If you've clicked on this, you've probably taken a detour from looking at one of my prompts. The purpose of this post is pretty simple, it's just to explain my preference in writing, partners and the kind of stories I want to write up with you. I'm sure I'll cover this to some degree in my own prompts, but I wanted to have something more specific in detailing the 'formula' I like to use.

Writing is fun! But it can also be a chore, and I often find myself in a situation where it feels like I'm writing an essay rather than a fun, erotic kind of story. After a lot of trial and error over the years, I think I've finally sussed out what makes a good, enjoyable experience, and the emphasis is on that word; Experience. Whilst others can string out long, epic tales with smut in them, I find myself increasingly preferring smut over story, but that smut still has to be good, of course. I try not to put a numerical value on it, but I also tend to writer 2-4 paragraphs or so, sometimes more, sometimes less. I prefer to be dynamic in my responses in context to the scene rather than put out huge walls of text simply 'cause, or trying to write short responses on purpose to be as quick as possible.

I find every prompt really works on three levels; Premise, which is the general idea in mind, Setting, which of course is the world of the story, Characters- Again, pretty obvious stuff, and then Variables. The last part is probably the most important. A fun RP for me is one with a pretty fun premise, an interesting location we can use to our benefit, some characters we'll genuinely enjoy to play with and then plenty of situations to put those characters in.

This kind of process isn't always applicable to all of my stories, but it is to most of my stories, or at least the approach I generally like to take, just a heads up!

This is quite different to how most people write, I find, which is more so focused on a traditional story narrative, where things evolve, change and go from A to B. For myself, it's less so going from A to B, and more like A to B, A to C, A to D, A to E, and so forth. A fun, central premise which we can sprout lots of scenes from. A good example of this could be something like a prostitution story. Let's brainstorm, shall we?

Premise: My character, an FBI agent, has gone undercover as a prostitute in order to bring down a dangerous gang

Setting: A dark, seedy underbelly of a prominent capital city, filled with all kind of perverts, sickos and lustful opportunities around every corner.

Characters: My 'main character' in question, of course, but also with yourself playing a various roles, or just the one role, or vice versa!

Variables: So many to choose from, but in this case working best in a 'Slice of Life' context. One day she's sucking off a gang in a back alley, the next she's shaking her ass in the best club in town- Sometimes getting closer to her goal, other times just working to keep her cover intact.

Pretty simple stuff, right? The 'missing' part here is Narrative, in which I generally like to avoid in an RP. This is what makes an RP an RP, rather than a shared story. Improvisation, experimentation, and a genuine sense of adventure is so much more fun when we don't have a fixed path, a rigid narrative, for us to have to follow out.

So I help that helps overall! This is the kind of 'formula' I want to apply to each and every story I do, and said stories will be fixed around this kind of 'formula' in question. Some elements are more important than others- For some stories, it's a world-building heavy focus, for others, the focus is on the characters, or the variables, and so on. You get the idea.

As for Kinks and Limits, I thought it might be better to 'dump' here than to include in my prompts every single time. Simply put, this is pretty much all of my kinks, at least all that I can think of. Not every kink is going to applicable to every story, of course, but this should give a general good idea.

Limits: Blood, gore, snuff, necrophilia, vomitting, vore and bestiality

Kinks: BDSM, Bondage, Humiliation, Degradation, Objectification/Forniphilia, Rough Sex, Group Sex, Anal, Oral Sex, Outerplay, Foreplay, Body Worship, Rimming, Ass Sitting, Piss, Scat, Enemas, Cum Play, Scent Play, Sweat, Spit, Cumplay, Lactation, Breeding, Pregnancy, Filth Play, Interracial/Raceplay, Faith play, Pet Play, Bimbofication, Latex, Leather, Outfit Play, Sex Toys, Fucking Machines, Sensory Deprivation, Being Filmed, Exhibitionism, Public Play, Mind Breaking, Consensual, Dub-Con, Non-Con, Corruption, Pain Play, Drug Play, Overstimulation, Orgasm Denial/Control, Unrealistic Proportions, Expansion/Inflation, Ugly Bastards, Size Differences, Age Differences, Incest, Cheating, Betrayal, Prostitution, Discipline, Punishment, Domestic Chores, Misogyny Play, Smoking, Drinking, Weight Gain, Stuffing, Immobilization, Body Modification, Wetting, Diapers, Hypnosis, Stepfordication, Tattoos, Piercings, Hyper, Nipple Fucking.

Messaging Me

It saddens me to have to make a section for something like this specifically, but I suppose it cannot be helped. It's really not hard to message me, just put some effort into your messages please. I don't want to set arbitrary word counts, but anywhere between 200-400 (or more!) should be the logical choice here. I mean think about it; If I have written out a big prompt, surely it's only fair to try and match my effort? At least by half?

Another thing; Don't ask if I'm 'still looking for a partner for this' and nothing else, nor claim 'well no point in putting a lot of effort in because I'm sure you're swamped.' If my prompt is still up and still open, I am looking for partners. As for the swamped thing- Nope! My inbox is just as empty as yours! Hard to believe, I know, but the idea of inboxes getting swamped is only a thing if you write the most basic bitch stories.

Finally, for the love of god don't comment on my prompts or tell me my chat isn't working (I disabled it, because anyone who uses chat has less brain cells than I can tolerate) otherwise I will instantly ignore you. C'mon, we're adults here, so let's act like it.

As for the 'how' in regards to crafting a good message, it's pretty simple stuff. Detail, effort, interest, enthusiasm, all of these go a long, long way. Tell me what you liked about my prompt, what ideas you have in store, what kind of kinks and limits you have, what kind of character you'd like to play and maybe some detail about them? I'm not asking for the world here, I don't think.

Please don't write in character, or send me a sample text or anything like that. It's so, so much more important for me to get to know you as a person, as a writer, than it is just a piece of writing which I have no connection to. I love to discuss stuff before jumping into things, so messaging me with your interest, kinks, limits, ideas, is so much better than just an continuation of the story, or a sample text. Communicate with me, don't write at me.

Finally, even if I don't think we'd make good partners I will at least try and reply to everyone who puts effort into their messages, so please try regardless! The chances of me replying to a low-effort message is 0%, so you might as well give a damn.
