ELI5: The Star Wars

I am just now watching Star Wars (thank you Disney plus) and I could use some help. The first two episodes (phantom menace/clone wars) were kind of confusing for me. I have been a long time fan of the originals, but for some reason I’m having a hard time following the first two. Can someone give me a breakdown of what’s happening or bullet points before I give it another rewatch? May the force be with you.
