Pleasantly surprised finding an actual forest park in the city, but partly heart-sunk seeing unnecessary concrete pavements and metal bridges.
People in power really think "development" and "rehabilitation" can only be done by pouring concrete and installing metal structures at the expense of squandering natural landscapes and habitat, no? All for what our eyes could call "beautification"? George Orwell was spot on when he said man only serves the interest of no creature except himself.
