So I've been gone from reddit for a hot minute now, because as it turns out over the past 4 years I may have let my mental health issues pile up a bit too much.
I'm aware they exist, hell I could watch myself drift down into the pits of despair, yet I was too reluctant to deal with them.
Until they kicked me right in the balls and I ended up with a complete burn out from all of it.
In the end everyone around me was extremely understanding and patient while I sorted myself out. So this is a PSA, if you feel yourself slipping with your mental health: Take action! Talk to someone, treat yourself to a break, do something that makes you happy.
The work required to get out of that pit is awful and painful all along the way.
