My name is Bryan and, however it is you've found me, I welcome you.

If you're looking for A/S/L then here goes. I'm 38 years old, or as I've taken to calling it "Level 38". I am a man, though truth be told I'm personally one who believes in gender abolition. I live not far from Chicago in Illinois within the US (CST or GMT-6 timezone).

A bit more about myself - I'm a polyamorous nerd and creature of the night. Politically speaking I'm a leftist. Among the many various interests I have, one of my favorite things is having a good conversation with other people. Could be catching up with an old friend or meeting someone for the first time. I pride myself on always having an open and friendly ear to those who need it.

Other things I enjoy:

Nature 🍂 - I love to go hiking or to spend time with animals. My favorites are crows and foxes. My favorite season is Autumn as all the power and beauty of nature seems to be on display.

Music 🎵 - My tastes are all over the place. Like one moment it's classical, the next it's some death metal, then Weird Al. I'm just a mess of genres, though I tend to gravitate to Rock, Blues, and Folk.

Movies 🎥 - Here, like with music, my tastes are definitely varied. Comedy, Romance, Drama, or Action; I love them all. I do have an utter fascination & absolute love for the Horror genre though. Could be a thriller, a slasher, some cosmic terror, or classical creature feature. Basically anything to get the blood pumping.

The Occult 🪦 - I find an interest in Tarot, occult practices such as witchcraft and spell work, ghost hunting, cryptids, and so much more. While I can't say I believe in everything from the occult world I can say that the subject catches my attention.

Games 🎮 - Due to my work schedule I find I don't have a ton of video games with big multi-player focus. I do however love plenty of games and even has a few to play with friends. Like with music or movies there are too many to mention here, but if gaming is your thing I encourage you to ask me more in depth. I also am incredibly fond of board games and even a few card games such as "Magic the Gathering".

Roleplaying games 🎲 - I know I just did a segment on games but this needs its own category. I love tabletop roleplaying games such as Dungeons & Dragons, Call of Cthulhu, Vampire the Masquerade (and other World of Darkness properties), Cyberpunk, Delta Green, Kult: Divinity Lost, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Mutants & Masterminds, and so so many more. Been playing them and running them for over 20 years now. Collaborative storytelling is a huge passion for me and something I love to do with friends maybe more then anything. I'm always looking for a person or group to game with!

Books 📚 - A good chunk of my personal library is dedicated to various non fiction books on history, philosophy, and other educational topics. Another large part of my reading list is fictional adventures of private detectives, powerful fantasy heroes, and strange alien horror and madness. Comic books are also a big thing for me. Yeah, I'm a massive nerd; proud of it.

Streaming 💻 - Often at work you can find me listening to news and political analysis, my favorite live streamers, "Let's plays", or long video essays. On occasion I'll also watch a series or old TV show I enjoyed though I find that these are bit more infrequent as they take more time.

I have plenty of other interests not listed above such as food, culture, art, and such but the only way to know everything is to know me.

So, "who am I?" I'm just me. A fun loving nerd who enjoys the company of friends.
