Writer’s Thoughts: I think this one worked so well because most people who listen to ASMR are looking for some sort of connection. That desire for connection can in turn make someone feel clingy, and thus feel guilty. But as I said in the script, needing affection to feel loved is nothing to be ashamed of! As long as you respect others’ boundaries you’re just fine. Besides, who doesn’t love cuddles?

Writer’s Thoughts: A double repeat! I don’t really have anything left to say about the delinquent script, except I suppose I stole a Danganronpa character’s name to get the teacher’s last name. But the yandere script I have another anecdote for. Something that definitely helped this character come across well was that they really are trying their best to improve. A lot of yanderes in ASMR really don’t care about their love’s wants and are just lucky enough to capture a listener that’s cool with it, but the listener in this script clearly doesn’t want to be kept captive for the rest of their life. The fact that the yandere is trying so hard to improve is endearing and something I feel attracted a lot of people to their character.

Writer’s Thoughts: My main goal with the mental health check-up script was (besides comforting people who need it) to hopefully encourage people to check in on their friends. We’re currently facing a mental health crisis, especially among youth. And while you shouldn’t force yourself into the role of your friend’s therapist, checking in and letting them vent every now and then can go a long way. As for the mafia script, it was my second ever commission. I was still trying to figure out the whole commissions thing so I think it turned out really well taking that into account. The mafia aesthetic in media has never really been my favorite, but I can completely understand the appeal. And leaning into it for this script only furthered my understanding of why people like these types of characters so much.
