This is a request that came in from someone who has been a very kind listener since my verification audio way back in January. They have asked that I not reveal their name. This amazing individual works for the NHS (National Health Service) in the UK… they are the best of us and all I can say is… thank you.

A “thank you” has been airing on most of the TV stations in the UK as a tribute to key frontline workers who are heroes in the scary place that the world has become in recent months. It takes the form of a poem read by the actor Idris Elba.

The poem is called Don’t Quit by John Greenleaf Whittier (1807 – 1892) and is in the public domain.

Whilst primarily, this is for my lovely listener who requested it …… its for everyone who is working in our hospitals, care homes, in retail… as law enforcement, as firefighters, as teachers…. As newly recruited home school teachers who are also doing their day job at home… as recently unemployed folk who are not sure what tomorrow brings… as recently bereaved folk trying to cope in a time of grief without the closeness of friends and family

Really, its for all of us…
