After posting a couple of times on r/cuddlebuddies and talking to a few scammers or people who were sketchy, I finally met up with someone!!!
It was on Thanksgiving when we had a Friendsgiving cuddle date. Jane( fake name for anonymity) was a great cuddler and super communicative! I was a little nervous because this was the first time I had ever invited someone back to my place before meeting them IRL at least once. During our time together, it felt a little awkward for me to cuddle someone I knew nothing about. It felt pretty weird asking the typical first-date questions while cuddling each other. But you know, first meet-ups are always awkward like that.
Overall the cuddling experience was amazing! We enjoyed the cuddling so much that neither of us even touched the food we had for the Friendsgiving portion of the meetup.
My advice for those searching for cuddle buddies is to 100% have a prior meeting before cuddling. While I didn’t do this, a meeting prior would have alleviated a ton of the anxiousness I felt trying to both be a good cuddler and figure out the type of person I was with.
