Hey, I'm back. I've kinda mellowed out since last time, so, sorry for that. I was in a real slump. But let's talk about Pokémon this time around. I had this monologue in my head that I just wanted to get out into the void. So it goes a little like this. So Pokémon Sword and Shield cameout today and on Twitter I've just been seeing things about Sobble which upsets me because I've seen nothing about Grookey. Where is the Grookey Group or the Grookey Gang. I like Gookey Group because of the "oo" sound in both names but out doesn't really matter, what matters is that I'm not seeing any love for my main monkey Grookey. And speaking of Starter Pokémon, I've noticed a weird pattern in my preferences on each new trio: The fire starter has never been my favorite. I'm serious. Every for every generation, my favorite starter has either been the water or the grass starter. I'm not saying that I dislike the fire starters, they just don't have that oomph to be my favorite. Charmander is adorable and turns into a literal dragon but i like the turtle with water cannon more. Chimchar is also cute and Infernape is a good, cool looking pokemon, but i like big turtle with tree. Maybe i just like turtles. But really blaziken is cool but I like my big mud boi Swampert. Quilava and Typhlosion are the closest to being my fave starter in that generation if Totodile wasn't so God damned goofy and then it turns into Feraligator, like come on. He's awesome. The worst it gets is gen 6 or 7? I dunno which ever one Black and White was. I honestly forget that Fenniken is a starter, so that's very bad. And honestly i don't like any of the starters. Yeah, greninja, but he's alright at best. So anyway, Typhlosion was the peak of cool fire starter pokemon and no one can dethrone the goodest bois Blastoise and Torterra.
