High Protocol in Detail
Post Body
The aim of high protocol is to eliminate the ‘self’ and the independent will of my sub. In high protocol, my sub becomes an extension of my will. My sub does not need to think, only to obey. If I give no order, she takes no action. In a sense, high protocol is a sort of mental bondage.
The primary principles of high protocol are:
- My sub should not act unless given a specific order. By default my sub should assume the “Present” position unless I instruct otherwise.
- My sub should not speak unless asked a direct question or given explicit permission to speak freely. This restriction does not extend to moans, yelps, screams, etc. and only applies to spoken communication. Using a safeword is the obvious exception and is always acceptable.
- If my sub needs to speak, she should request permission by using the agreed-upon honorific alone, such as by saying simply “Sir”. She should not abuse this option frivolously.
- If there are periods of downtime during high protocol where I do not have a specific use for my sub, it is likely that I will employ sensory deprivation. If my sub does not have a particular purpose for the moment, she doesn’t need sense perception.
