I made it a point to not forget this time but what's the point if I don't do anything heh.

Meaning to say, I did want to write a new script. Then it became "just post something from my list of unpublished works". Right up to the day it finally came to "just repost something dammit".

Instead, here I am just writing a note. Sorry. It's not as easy as one might think to switch back into contributor role. It's not just posting scripts, it's being emotionally invested in the community, engaging with others, listening and commenting, and maybe hanging out in discord. I'm not quite ready to get back into all that.

When I stopped writing, I had a folder full of sub-folders with lots and lots of scripts in various stages of completion. I had collab plans and more ideas to write for some VAs. It was hard to walk away from it all, but life kicked in the door and demanded I got back to her. I mean, life is alright, just very demanding right now. :) And I can't juggle both so I had to give this up. At least for now.

Also I wanted to reflect a little on my 2 years here. Strange that it feels like a lifetime. Just 2 years? My real life 2 years ago wasn't that long ago, but my GWA life 2 years ago is like a distant memory. The heady days when I started posting and getting feedback, to the short hiatus, and returning with gusto, and meeting more awesome people, like you, reading this. Hello!

I've posted over 70 scripts and had 120 wonderful fills (I'm sure it's more). My GWA journey was sometimes draining, sometimes frustrating, but mostly awesome, especially when I could work with VAs on a story. Some have left :( Some are still around and I'm thankful for that and I'm sorry I've not been in contact. I'll be back sometime soon if you still have faith. Till then.
