To all of my listeners and VA/writer friends: THANK YOU for one amazing year so far. My Cake day was on the 21st, but I made my first audio post on GWA on the 31st of January, 2022.

Now, I'm a numbers gal but for the sake of continuing what I decided to hold myself to when I started this journey, I will not be calculating any other stats to keep this feeling like my creative outlet. ☺️

I started out recording audio on my phone...and I still do, sometimes. I started out doing no editing whatsoever. Now, my most recent audio features the most SFX editing I've done myself thus far.

A year ago, I was left in a not so great place - I had just gotten out of a (in hindsight) pretty confusing long-distance relationship, had a couple family issues that inadvertently popped up, among other life stresses - and I was questioning a lot of things about myself. Although I'm still questioning a lot of different things about myself as time goes by, I'm far more comfortable in my own skin today than I was a year ago, physically and mentally. My self esteem and self confidence are far greater, and the best part is, I feel far more in control of them now than I had before.

Doing this thing I do has allowed me to explore areas of myself that I would otherwise be unable to explore, and it has introduced me to some of the most incredible people I know. Thank you for all the appreciation and love.

My journey here is far from done, as far as I can tell right now. I have a couple projects in progress and they'll be coming to light soon enough.

One year down. Here's to many more. 🥰
