Here is one of those rare posts I make just on my user page to repeat again and again how happy I am to be here and to share with you my textual fantasies. Also, I took the habit of giving some goodies, nice links, etc. especially in the domain of aural pleasure.

Today, and probably more regularly in the future, I'll give you some of the background soundscapes I use when editing audios. For those who remember "welcome to the pod" you perhaps remember the ambience that surrounded you, enclosed in in that tiny pod, masked and restrained, naked and so vulnerable. The cracking sounds of the starship's structure always responding to the stresses of being propelled at superluminal speed, the distant hum of the fusion motors, the deep echoes of that grand structure traveling through space. And also, the uncomfortably close beeps of the pod AI constantly checking your vitals and your responses to it's ministration. And, oddly enough, all of these sounds are soothing, lulling you into a llight trance, and a state of acceptance of your fate. It's OK. Nothing bad will happen. You are safe, and you'll be released. Soon...ish.
