Real Question - Not Trying to Be Bitchy
Post Body

I understand that I’ve made a choice in the lifestyle that I live. And with that choice comes certain consequences. But I’m completely flabbergasted by the number of men (and I’m sure there are women out there just as bad) that stand me up and/or ghost. When I say ghost, I’m talking about someone there’s been a solid connection with and possibly even a meet/planned meet and they just vanish. Not a few surface messages back and forth.

Anyway, I digress. If you’ve done this before, or have any insight into this behavior, why? And I guess it’s really two separate issues.

1) What is so hard about taking 30 seconds to message someone when you have plans to say sorry, something came up? No pun intended 😜

2) Why disappear on someone? Why not just say “hey, this isn’t going to work for me.” For whatever reason. The sex was bad, I’m not read to go down this road…

What happened to basic human decency?
