Oh God, mine enemy has a face; like my own but strange and without hue.

They are colonists with a hive mind, cold with logics so base any insect might comprehend, though no life of higher reason can.

Dualistic principles and binary interpretations direct their course, merely; all this so painfully obvious in hindsight.

Simplicity allows them cruelty. Fear and distrust promotes their levity.

Their ghastly nature, born of their own paranoid uncertainty.

Grim Destiny, what cruel fate have you leveled against me?

Their can be no understanding between empirical reasoning and their bestial demanding.

How, then, does one convince any, but the slain, that this hive mentality will cause nothing but pain.

Heartless Fate, why dance the devil with me?

What injustice have I done?

What past stain do I bear that merits such a rivalry?

The truth of insect politics; there is none.

Their single minded purpose remains their intent; assimilate all, or devour those who refuse incorporation.

As we have all witnessed.

These Wights are not Human, not in the slightest shade.

They're incapable of freedom... They advance by destruction, or union... They advocate life through oblivion, threatening death by a slow blade.

And here is the sum of my vision; they claim that equality and communion can be achieved by voluntary submission to super-surveillance; their supervision ...until no one can be one, until all sense of morality and all sense of self is undone.

But God did not create man in the image of clones.

These unearthly demands, offered at the threat of cluster bombs and strike drones, can not be met with pitiful sighs.

We must never again submit to the colonial slavery they deem prerequisite; the soulless lives we so despise.

We must never adopt their sallow color of compromise.

Freedom is rooted in your firm grasp on individuality; your singularity.

Consider anything less and you'll never be free.

I have seen a dire tapestry of a future woven into nightmares by the hand of technology.

This, absolutely, Must Not Be.
