Online only vs IRL?
Post Body

Seems to me post-pandemic that people are hiding behind their computer screens, app phones and tablets now more than ever.

As an IT worker I know I spend waaaaayyy more time alone than I should even though I live in a large city surrounded by people. I do try to say hi to my neighbors at least when they're out walking their dogs and I have done my share of gaming in past years. Not much nowadays.

My biggest goal and objective if I put ads on Reddit is NOT to find someone to do online only interaction with, I have plenty of that already. I'm a Gen-Xer and old enough to remember what the world was like before the Internet and app phones and value real life interactions above anything else done online, even conference calls. With that being said, the only meaningful thing in life is real, actual connection with others in real-time, no matter how imperfect, awkward or flawed it might be, not behind a computer screen, tablet or app phone. You still have to be willing to take a risk with someone and run its course, otherwise- you're not really living.
