I had covid, but I didn't realize it. It was about two until my birthday last October. I should have known because I would get breathless very easily and such. Two days after my birthday I completely passed out. Luckily my dad was coming over and he called an ambulance. I was taken to the local emergency room. They did a bunch of tests and found blood clots in my lungs from the covid. Then they found that one had made it to my heart and was on the way to my brain, which would be instant death. They had to do open heart surgery immediately. I was flown by helicopter to a larger hospital for the surgery. I didn't know if I was going to wake up, if they would get the clot in time. I did wake up and consider my scar a battle wound. Unfortunately I was put on medicine that caused me to gain weight. I was very thin before, but this October I get to go off the medicine.
