Imma quickly get it out the way in case someone brings it up as relevant information regarding my query. I currently live in some sort of affordable subsidized housing thing program. And so the complex I think has like between 18 to 20 units and I think they're between two and three bedroom only. I think. So that being said I live in the bottom floor which I'm super glad for, except number one: why the hell did whoever construct the plans for these projects, decide to put every bedroom right above every other bedroom in the entire complex like why?! 😑 🙄 😐 😐 😑 🙄 🤔 what a terrible torturous choice! I could tell you almost exactly what brand of furniture my upstairs neighbor has in his bedroom except I don't even know his name, I have never even met him. I also know he has a restroom habit between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m. every single day he is single, however has a visitor with two children. And again, never met the man. Okay that brings me to my second point when I have nights bouting with insomnia or I'm partying and I'm up all night I am so paranoid about how much they can hear. This is only my second apartment, I'm 33 years old, and I lived in my first apartment right out of high school at 18. After which I promptly swore them off and have been successful since ( barracks don't count) and maybe it is just coincidence but I feel like he stops extra hard as a way to get back at me for noises like I don't know I don't feel like I can hear a lot of what goes on up there except for the footsteps of course. But in the other way around I don't have a clue on how to go about my evening if I'm going to be awake without feeling like I'm going to piss off the upstairs neighbor gods LOL and I know this government housing and it's not going to be great but I just literally do not know.
